New York will be treated to exciting multi-hull sailing action on May 30th – 31st when SailGP has 2 days of high speed racing right on the Hudson between Governors Island and the Statue of Liberty.

Once again the racing will fill the harbor with sails and high speed fun as the summer season begins in New York with adrenalin pumping action from the multi nation skill testing racing action on the water.

The 2026 edition of the Mubadala New York Sail Grand Prix – the sixth stop on the 2026 Rolex SailGP Championship – will kick off New York’s summer of sports, with 13 SailGP teams racing in identical 50-foot foiling catamarans faster than wind speeds over 60 miles per hour in front of iconic skyline views. Back on the world’s greatest stage, the event will offer a premium viewing experience from the racecourse perimeter on the Hudson.

U.S. SailGP Team driver Taylor Canfield__ said: “There’s nothing like racing in New York in front of our home crowd. The city’s energy hits you the second you’re on the water. Having fans even closer this year is going to make it that much better.”

Watch in person as rival national teams go head-to-head for Championship glory, competing at fast and furious events across multiple continents. The close-to-shore racing takes place over two days at each event, with season points awarded to teams based on their ranking.
