Sunny June skies shone brightly on the inaugural Herreshoff 12 Meter Chalice Challenge in Newport on Sunday June 20th. Five 12 Meter yachts were pitted against one another for racing on Narragansett Bay.
At the conclusion of 2 races Intrepid emerged victorious and skipper Steve Kloeblen awarded the crystal Chalice Challenge trophy at the historic Clarke Cook House.
